KGF BOY'S SCHOOL NOW IN A STATE OF DISREPAIR
Memories of a glorious childhood spent in Kolar Gold Fields. KGF was known for its colonial ambience and came into existence as early as the 16th century.
Thank you so much for this picture of the K G F School.I had the privilege of studing in that great institution.
ReplyDeleteI also studied at KGF school from the age of five years old to doing my Cambridge Exams when I was 18 years old. I left the School in 1960.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great school, and I loved every minute of it. In fact I got many medals for having 100% attendance in many years..
I also played cricket for the school and represnted it many times
I was in the same class with Derek Boosey who I am still in contact and Peter Phillips who I have also managed to contact.
As for the Shops I can remember also going there a lot for sweets. I was never away from it. I can also remmber Ibrahim clearly, and this was 1961 when we left KGF for England.
